What’s a perfect Summer drink for you?
Its Limbiya sharbat or Nimboo pani/lemon juice for us.
I do not add any ice cubes when making Nimboo pani but if
the Nimboo pani can turn into ice what's better than that right?
Lets look in how to make these Nimboo pani popsicles.
Ingredients for Nimboo Pani Popsicles Recipe :
Lime- 3
Fresh mint leaves ¼ cup
Sugar syrup 6 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Make Simple Syrup
Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a
saucepan over medium-low heat. Add a squeeze of lemon juice to prevent the
mixture from crystallizing. Stir and let cook just until sugar dissolves. Let
cool.
Make Nimboo Pani posicles
Combine the sugar syrup with 2 glasses of water approx..
Stir in simple syrup to taste, add lime juice squeezed from 3 limes (this is
because lime tastes different in each place).
Now just break the mint leaves with hands and add into
the Nimboo pani and pour into popsicle moulds.
Freeze for 8-10 hours or overnight.
After the popsicles are set remove from moulds and enjoy!
Aps Notes:
We will not need all of the Sugar syrup so please adjust accordingly.
I have mentioned 4 lime here, please check if the lime
you use juicy or not, depending on this you might need to adjust lime juice.
You can grind the mint leaves and make it into a mint nimboo
popsicle, but the colour will turn green.
