Heyfolks,M sure all ya are doing gr8. Another weekend is done d all r waiting for the next one…… my weekend went on super…… this weekend was something spl to do…… double joy….. The first one is my Parents wedding anniversary nd next one is My Bday…… Yeh all heard it ryt….. the lady writing here was born on her parentsWedding anniversary…. December 17th….. Isn’t tht gr8…. I m a yr older now L…. Sometimes I feel Wish I cud be a kid….. free from tensions…..responsibilities…… But then I realize it can just be a thought…not reality… (m sure all might have been thinking the same). It was notonly my Bdayit was Qatar National day too…… SO I can say the whole country celebrated my bday :P.This yr my hubby dear made it much more spl by surprising me with a spl cake…… Not the regular cake but I can say Guru’s spl cake…. I was not allowed to come in the kitchen for half n hr …..…. :P….. The only thing I cud do is keep guessing whts going on in the kitchen……. Then he comes with a plate and surpris…

Bread Pizza with a Veggie Salsa

Have left over bread at home?? Thinking what to do??? So was I doing!!! But now I don’t need to…. Bcoz I have many options…. I use them in chapathis, make rolls, Sandwiches, and now Pizzas…. Yeh U heard it ryt Bread Pizza


My last post was regarding bread so I thought it wud be great to post something related to it, here is the recipe.
We Need:
Bread Slices – 6-7
Pizza sauce – ½ cup
Vegetable (corn kernels, mushrooms, tomato, capsicum – all three colors, onion
Mozzarella Cheese Grated- 1 cup
Italian seasoning (rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano) – to sprinkle on top
Salt to taste

For the Pizza Sauce: 1 cup tomato paste6 glasses(small) warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese1 teaspoon minced garlic2 tablespoons honey3/4 teaspoon onion powder1/2 teaspoon galic powder1/4 teaspoon dried oregano1/4 teaspoon dried basil1/4 teaspoon ground black peppe

Heyaa!!!! I am sure all r in pink of health. Its gona be all about baking & baking in my blog for few weeks. Those biscuits or may be bread….etc …..Etc. It’s been long time I have shared ne bread recipe with you guys…. Common today is the ryt time…. I’ll share it with ya all.

When matter comes about time I remember Amma a lot and thtz bcoz wheneva she tells me to do some work I have a answer ready “Amma magiri karta” (Mom I’l do it later). Yeh I was a lazy daughter (not always I must say :P) …………………. Whateva it may be I used to do those work but ‘Not In Time’. :P
Now I feel very bad for it…. But m sure most of them r very lazy b4 their marriage bcoz they Neva have ne responsibilities or something like tht???? Isn’t it??? Anyways I’ll keep pulling on my story later…. So how about the bread talks now????

Every time we visited a supermarket (In SA), my hub used to luk at the pack of onion flake as if he is gona grab them from there…..But then it was “donno how it wud taste next time” ……

After so many months I m posting this recipe…. Sushma of Authentic food delights was asking me this recipe ….some of my other frenz did too… M really sorry girls it went of my mind ….. today after so many days I remembered about this so thought of posting it…..

My first cookies wasn a big hit….but I never lost hope :P I folowed the spider rule….try n try til u succeed.


Alas I have…. :)

Here is the recipe for The Cookies
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup any flavor fruit jam or any preserve ( I used Cherry preserve)
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.
Separate egg, reserving egg white. Cream butter or margarine, sugar, and egg yolk.
Add vanilla, flour and salt, mixing well.
Shape dough into balls. Roll in egg white. Place on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
With thumb, dent each cookie. Put jelly or preserves in each thumbprint. Bake for another 12-13 min…
