Home Remedies.... Always A Success

Hello Everybody....
There is No recipe this time.... Instead Home remedies which I have tried and tested on Me.... Since its long time i was not active in blogging i thought I must get active through sending something to Event... And I feel great to send this to a new blog which i recently visited....

This post is for Home Remedies Series 2 guest hosted by Ruchikacooks, event by A2Z Vegetarian Cuisine.

My mom never wasted a single fruit.... every time we gave her a fruit she always used it her way that is A small piece on the face...nd we always blabbered Amma y do u waste the fruit.... later on I realized how it works when I used it myself :)
Here r some tips for Glowing Skin..... I m sure many spend a lots of money on parlors ( i don't tell ya not to but try things at home and be healthy with your skin)....
  • Mash banana with milk and apply it on face . Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water.
  • A piece of papaya when applied to the face can do a similar magic.
  • Massage with A tbsp of fresh cream(homemade) and get glowing skin (Mind me I used to do this almost everyday when I was In college.... I m not tht free these days so I have skipped it...But i do it once in a while for sure).
  • A tsp of honey and a 1/2 tsp of fresh turmeric powder Reduces extra hair on Face. And It is told that for New borns apply oil and turmeric and massage well they will have lesser hair on body.
I m sure most of them have digestion problems... may be due to the food or any other reason... here r the remedies for Indigestion.
  • Boil A spoonful of Jeers/ cumin seeds with a glass of water and reduce to 1/2 cup drain and drink the water... This prevents indigestion.
  • Chewing of Ajwain (oma) will also cure indigetsion
  • A glass of thin buttermil with 2 pinches or drops of asafoetida/ hing prevents indigestion.
These days there is no season for cough and cold... before there was a season for each nd every thing but as yrs pass by the seasons vary nd wht not...
here r some remedies for cough
  • Avoid cold foods as these can aggravate the throat further. Drink warm water morning and night. It will give relief to your infected throat.
  • Onion is very effective in the treatment of cough. The juice extracted from finely chopped onion helps in loosening the cough, and clears chest-congestion. Take 1-2 teaspoon of onion juice and add 1-2 teaspoon of honey into it. Keep this mixture aside for 5-6 hours, and then give a teaspoon of it to the patient at east two times in a day.
  • Ginger is also very effective home remedy for cough. Mix ½ tablespoon of ginger pieces, and a half tablespoon of pepper powder. Further add equal amount (one tablespoon) of honey into it. Add 2-3 tablespoon of water and keep it aside. Take this cough syrup 2-3 times a day. This is commonly used homemade cough syrup for getting relief from cough.

  • Black pepper has also very significant role in treating cough. It looses the mucous membrane and open chest congestion. Take 2-3 black pepper seeds and chew it. If patient find difficulty in chewing it because of its strong bitter taste, add 2-3 pepper seeds in a glass of milk.

And Last but not the least Suma has showered with this lovely Award... thank U.
Will be back with some more Interesting Things...
