Mushroom & Gobi Tikka

My drafts have started singing a song these days tht is Aps Aps come again empty me as soon as u can…. :P I kno this a big PJ… By the way today m gona post a draft of mine which was lying from almost more than 3 months… I had prepared these when I was in Saudi….. I always read a tikka recipe I realize… ah there is one in my draft too I ve to post it… but some or the other reason I cud not…
Now tht I m a bit bz nd in my SIL’s place the thing I ve to do is post one from my draft… I m sure I will get bac with a fresh recipe soon….

We need
15 Button Mushrooms
15 Gobi/Cauliflower florets
2 Tomatoes cubed and deseeded
1 or 2 onion cut into cubes
2 capsicum cut into cubes
Skewers

For Marinade
1 cup fresh curds
2 tbsp ginger paste
3 tbsp garlic paste
2 tsp Kitchen King masala
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp tandoori masala
1 tsp red chilly powder
2 tsp powdered kasuri methi
4 freshly crushed peppercorns
2 tbsp lime juice
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp oil for basting
Salt to taste

Method:
In a bowl, mix curds and all other ingredients except oil Add the Gobi Florets and Mushrooms and mix well. Cover the bowl and marinate for 3 hours
Thread the Gobi & Mushroom onto skewers Place a tomato cube, capsicum nd onion in between each gobi & mushroom, repeat the process and keep them ready.
Rub the prepared tikka with oil and place it over the grill.
Grill for 10 min in an oven at 180 C/ 350 F . overturn again, baste with oil and grill for another 10 min or till tender and crisp. Serve hot
Note: u can even use non stick pan and fry for 15 minutes turning equally to make tikka if u do not have an oven.
Serve Hot
Squeeze Lime when U eat if reuired.
Verdict: Simply Superb …. Crunchy munchy Starter.

Yummmy!! BBQ food anytime. Isnt't Kitchen King masala the cutest? I got couple of packs to US, can you belv?
